The 50th-anniversary release of the renowned vinyl label Artreform marks a significant milestone bridging the past and the future. The label’s head, JOSS, a DJ and producer based in Kyiv, continues to unearth talented newcomers. The latest release features a track by a promising Ukrainian newcomer, Wonkie, who is relatively unknown in the electronic music scene. Additionally, the release includes a remix by the European house music superstar IO (Mulen). IO first appeared on Artreform in 2013 with the ghetto banger “Criminal Stuff,” leading to multiple collaborations with the label. Two years ago, IO revisited Artreform with a remix of JOSS’s single “Justify.” IO (Mulen) represents the esteemed history of Artreform while offering a glimpse into its vibrant future.
