The Boy and the Heron(Japanese:,Hepburn:Kimitachi wa D Ikiru ka,lit.‘How Do You[a]Live?‘)is a 2023Japanese animatedfantasy filmwritten and directed byHayao Miyazaki. Produced byStudio Ghibli, the film’s Japanese title references Genzabur Yoshino’s1937 novel of the same namebut is not an adaptation of it. The Japanese voice cast includesSoma Santoki,Masaki Suda,Ko Shibasaki,Aimyon,Yoshino Kimura,Takuya Kimura,Kaoru Kobayashi, andShinobu Otake.
