With Wanderings (one), Slovak artist Hendriks Toth delivers an introspective, sensory, and deeply nomadic project. Conceived as a sonic travel diary, this vinyl album gathers seven compositions recorded in cities across the globe each track born from a specific place. Far from being a literal geographic document, each piece is an emotional fragment, an inner landscape shaped by the sounds of the outside world captured, transformed, and reassembled.
Blending field recordings, analog textures, granular processing, and subtle rhythmic motifs, Hendriks Toth crafts a sensitive ambient and experimental work. He doesnt aim to describe places, but to translate their inner resonance: the tension of a Tehran alleyway, the dry heat of Jeddah, the vibrant chaos of Kolkata, the slow calm of Maputo, the urban pulse of New York, the sacred silence of the Pamir mountains, and the restrained gravity of Kyiv.
