Dijon releases his new album Baby via R&R/Warner Records. Teased through an Instagram tracklist screenshot and a countdown on his website, Baby arrives after a landmark year featuring Dijon on Bon Ivers SABLE, fABLE, contributions to Justin Biebers SWAG, and an appearance in Paul Thomas Andersons film One Battle After Another alongside Leonardo DiCaprio.

With no advance singles, Baby is Dijons first release since his acclaimed 2021 debut Absolutely, named one of the years best by outlets like The FADER, i-D, and NPR. That debut, paired with Absolutely the film and standout performances like Big Mikes on The Tonight Show, cemented Dijon as a boundary-pushing artist.

Created largely at home in isolation with close collaborators Andrew Sarlo, Henry Kwapis, and Michael Gordon, Baby reflects on new fatherhood and the rapid life changes since Absolutely. Its a deeply introspective yet sonically adventurous collection capturing the mania, joy, and heartbreak of domestic life.

The record pushes his sound further into experimental territory, fusing R&B, soul, and pop with glitchy electronics, chopped instrumentation, and immersive layers of reverb. Despite its fragmented, feverish construction, Baby remains deeply soulful and accessible, with highlights like Yamaha and Kindalove balancing urgency with warmth. Widely praised by critics, including a 9.0 from Pitchfork, the album confirms Dijon as one of the most inventive voices shaping the future of R&B.
