‘Split’ is a 12″ featuring two of the most exiting bands in the post punk / mutant disco scene featuring Glasgow’s Dancer and Portland’s Whisper Hiss.

HHBTM Records presents ‘Split’ a split 12′ featuring two of the post punk / mutant disco’s most exciting bands Glasgow, Scotland’s Dancer and Portland, Oregon’s Whisper Hiss. Both bands give six tracks on their side of the 12′. The record comes in a triple color screen-printed sleeve, download card, and insert. Songs about consumerism and loss of identity with a solid dance beat with hints of Talking Heads world view, Pylon’s rhythmic drive, and the stark minimalism of Young Marble Giants. This release came about from label being pitched doing a 7′ by Whisper Hiss and the same day discovering Dancer via some reviews on line and just reaching out to see if they would be interested in doing a record. Both bands had just 3 songs available at the time and it was too long to make it a split 12′ but
