Beginning with their debut R.I.P. in 1987, Coroner spearheaded the rapidly growing technical thrash metal movement and continually refined their style over subsequent albums. While Coroner had set the bar exceptionally high early on, they kept elevating the quality of their music to higher forms despite this. No More Color is a testament to their creative ability at their peak in 1989 and may just be their finest hour, as well as one of the crowning achievements of its genre.
Hardly any other band in the 80s and 90s elevated Thrash Metal to the technical level that Coroner did.
The first three albums, R.I.P. (1987), Punishment for Decadence (1988), and No More Color (1989), have achieved absolute cult status and belong in every decent Thrash Metal collection!
