Different Light is the second studio album by Los Angeles all-female rock band The Bangles, released in 1986 on Columbia Records. This pop rock album marked their commercial breakthrough and includes their biggest hits “Manic Monday” (written by Prince under the pseudonym Christopher) and “Walk Like an Egyptian,” both of which reached the top of the charts.
