This is a limited edition, clear vinyl LP pressing of A Symphonic Celebration by Joe Hisaishi. Hisaishi is the revered Japanese composer whose work has become synonymous with the magical Studio Ghibli animations of director Hayao Miyazaki, such as Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, and My Neighbor Totoro. Recorded in London by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and conducted by the composer, the album features tracks newly arranged by Hisaishi for symphony orchestra. This release also includes high-profile classical collaborators such as the Bach Choir, Avi Avital, and Grace Davidsen.
