EXTRAORDINARY 1977 RUMOURS SHOW IN TOKYO
Fleetwood Macs Rumours tour took place after the band released their eleventh studio album in February 1977. Due to the album’s huge success Fleetwood Mac embarked on a world jaunt taking in North America, Europe, their native UK, Japan and Oceania.
The Japanese leg of the tour took place in December 77, by which time the band had been on the road for the best part of a year, but the shows they performed in Japan, which took place between 1st and 5th of the month, with their final show in the country performed at the Nippon Budokan in the capital city on 5th December, were mesmerising. A stunning show was witnessed in Tokyo which the Japanese audience went crazy for.
Bonus cuts here come from Fleetwood Macs Midnight Special TV appearance recorded 18 months earlier, for live television broadcast on 8th April 1976.
