Evie Tornquist, born in March 1956 in USA, Christian vocalist with Norwegian-American background. Larseric Janson found her and made so she became a star at 14-years old when her parents were on a visit in Sweden 1970.

In February 1979 she married Christian singer/songwriterPelle Karlsson(who wrote the Swedish lyrics to “Han r min sng och min gldje”).

Evie was officially inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame on February 22, 2005, and was one of the inaugural inductees to the Christian Music Hall of Fame
