Scandinavian Art Ensemble, a dynamic collective of musicians from Scandinavia and Poland, proudly present Copenhagen Sessions Vol. 1. The long-awaited recordings that capture their unique blend of spacious, evocative jazz. The ensemble’s journey began at the 2015 gathering Summer Session, where they played under the legendary Tomasz Stako. Inspired by their collaboration, they entered the studio in 2016, trusting that the right moment would come to share their music with the world. Marked by a distinctive balance of Slavic melancholy and open, exploratory soundscapes, Copenhagen Sessions Vol. 1 reflects the collective spirit of the group–where every member contributes to the compositions, shaping a deeply expressive and immersive listening experience.
