To mark the thirtieth anniversary of the release of “Il Vile”, the second album by Marlene Kuntz-a symbol of a generation and a landmark work of Italian alternative rock-a special numbered, limited-edition version will be released, entirely designed by Alessandro Baronciani, one of the most important illustrators and comic artists on the Italian scene. A passionate rock music fan and a devoted admirer of Marlene Kuntz in particular, the artist wanted to pay tribute to an album that changed his life as a teenager. In addition to creating the album artwork, he also produced a booklet/comic featuring 11 illustrated panels, each representing his personal interpretation of the songs on the album, as well as 6 postcards (each copy contains 3 selected at random) featuring a vignette taken from the comic itself. All copies are numbered and hand-signed by the artist. The reissue will be accompanied by the tour “Marlene Kuntz suona Il Vile”, with eleven dates in some of the finest clubs across Italy.
