The simple profound idea was to construct a gesture that would truly translate the invitation to consider human dignity. ‘A human must be prepared for death… A human must be prepared for death by making peace with those he once called loved ones… A human must be prepared to face… yes. In the meantime, there’s life and endless time. May someone let God know I want an exclusive one-on-one meeting with eternity, please?! I have a body of work I believe leaves me on good terms with time, but we all know eternity is something else…’
