The Dutch bandTimeBandits, formed by Alides Hidding, had national and international success. In 1981, theTimeBanditsscored a big dance hit with Live It Up, which reached the number 1 spot on the American Dance Charts.

Characteristic of theTimeBanditsis the professional sound of funk, disco, soul, and rock, as well as the unmistakable voice and guitar sound of Alides Hidding. In 1983, the song Im Specialized In You came in second in the Dutch Top 40, selling over 90,000 copies in the Netherlands and 450,000 in France. The following single, Listen To The Man With The Golden Voice, also made it to the top 10.

In October 1983, the single Im Only Shooting Love reached the top 10 and did very well in France, Portugal, America, and Australia, reaching the number 1 spot in the New Zealand single charts. The band toured Australia and New Zealand, and a string ofhitsfollowed.

The *Endless Road* music video was filmed in Australia during the bands 1985 tour. It has been viewed over 2.5 million times on YouTube.

The vinyl edition of *GreatestHits* features all theirhits, various remixes, and three fan-favorite bonus tracks: Reach Out, Dancing On A String, and Endless Road (High Energy Dance Mix by Ben Liebrand). This is a limited edition of 500 copies, pressed on translucent pink coloured vinyl. This 2-LP set includes an insert.
